I’ve been thinking about getting the Cinevate Atlas 10 DSLR slider for some time now, but the cost (combined with my temporary lack of work) had dissuaded me from making the purchase. Two days ago, however, I saw that all Cinevate products were 30% off, so I asked Christie if this could be my birthday and Christmas present, and she agreed. Less than 24 hours after placing my order with B&H, the 26″ slider with all-terrain legs arrived at my doorstep.
I’m going to wait and play with it a little more before giving it a full review, but here’s a little test video I made using the Atlas and my Canon 60D. There are some shots in here I wouldn’t use/would re-shoot if this were an actual video for clients, but for a first use, shot and put together in just a few hours, I’m pretty happy with it.
Don and I have been going through some old projects that we worked on, and are realizing that they should be up on our sites as well!
This one was made for GT Bicycles two years ago, celebrating the rebirth of the brand. I was involved with the graphics, editing, and some of the videography.
